1. Why did you avoid me on the day you advised me?
Advice amongst people is rebuke,

2. Or did you fear the superiority of his argument would be grasped
While his reputation remains untouched by blame and perfect?

3. He runs with the truth like a madman with his spear,
And the truth follows him, its leader and its lead.

4. You were afraid your plotting would be unveiled, so you came openly,
You have erred! Some safekeeping leads to loss!

No good in craving that entices, or in fullness

6. That induces tyranny—the best pairing of the two is hunger.
Oh sigh that ignited the fires of worries!

7. For worries have within the breast a fount.
