And every precious one in Iraq disgraced

5. And pass by my grandchildren, and say your grandfather's heart
Will continue throbbing for you

6. And greet my family, and scatter my tears
Upon my homeland, O rushing currents

7. Peace..peace.. after a day and a night
You will yearn to death's extent for the flood!
