1. If my religion is pleased with me
Then no harm if I anger fate and capacity

2. He is the sea of generosity and the morning is morning
And the light of darkness is beneficial and the youth of morning is innate

3. His virtue's superiority has uncovered the hidden in existence
Without him, his nature would not have emerged

4. He is the unique reddish one whose giving
Grants wishes when sought altogether

5. Generous, if fate saw his generosity
It would repeat favors and disdain refusal

6. Zealous, when he promises he pardons, and if he threatens
The rain of gifts precedes its lightning hastily

7. If you seek fortune observe its ascension and do not
Worry if you are no star gazer

8. And say to those who incline away from his door of grace
By your life you have wasted effort in other than Him

9. I wandered among non-Arabs seeking his equal
But did not see one of such pedigree or branch

10. So I returned to my old view that he
Is supreme over all above the ground in generosity a branch

11. And whatever you find on earth of pasture and meadow
To his call for aid we shall return

12. It settles the eyes and clarity
As the reciter of his praise makes the hearing joyful

13. When he descends in a wide earth with his feet
Oh goodness of settlement and fertility of pasture

14. I raised his fluttering banner in praise
So I was eased of worry and exalted

15. If I do not hope in him at any time
Then I do not know harm or benefit

16. I am accustomed to his favor in every situation
So I am nothing but a knocker on his door knocking

17. But his hands fold up finery
To seas and vast oceans so I do not leave the abode

18. Yet I do not satisfy myself with his approval
So how when his name glistens to me like a lamp

19. Except that he who builds glorious fame
And does good or best act

20. Is above any blame other than that his excess love for me
Makes my envious enemies wretched but no wonder

21. I saw all people seeking his door
With whatever fine words for him they strive

22. So I threw my bucket with their buckets but
There was no splash even if agitated it herds

23. And others gained fresh, ripe and success and prosperity that I attained religiously
He granted me pride in his refinement and his eloquent composition does not accept removal

24. So it is right that thanking him is an eternal religious duty
Thankfulness for favors is always an eternal religious duty
