Compared to the ambition of the Arab army

7. O lad of the Maghreb, ask who built it
Its red home, you will hear wonder

8. So prepare it for its people, a homeland
That the Arabs envy and marvel

9. We made it prosperous, and if the morning breeze
Blew from its growth, to us belongs the first right

10. The paradise of immortality, that prosperity
How can it remain, while we still draw breath?
