1. Do not ask of his peace,
His spirit above his comfort.

2. His worries have changed him,
To a shroud of his pillow.

3. He awaits the hour,
After which, the horror of his hour.

4. Busy is the mind of he who sees him,
With the frown of his anxiety.

5. Between his sides flutters a heart,
That burns for its purpose.

6. Who saw the darkness of gloom,
Kindled from his embers?

7. Hell burdened him,
With part of his message.

8. He is at the door standing,
And destruction is afraid of him.

9. So calm, O storms,
Ashamed of his determination.

10. Silent - if they conversed,
He would pronounce fire and blood.

11. Say to those who disapproved his silence,
Wisdom was created mute.

12. And the brother of wisdom has never
Ceased to have his hand precede his mouth.

13. Do not blame him, for he has seen
The path of truth obscured.

14. And a country he loved,
Whose pillar has crumbled.

15. And enemies whose hatred
Made the earth and sky roar.

16. A time has passed almost
Killing him with despair.

17. He is at the door standing,
And destruction is afraid of him.
