9. You broke their rules so that money became your god, filling his place.
Usurious gain is your idol, forever grasping and covetous.

10. The Sabbath to you means plotting and deceit. Where is its sanctity and glorification?
You distorted its verses so that murder was sanctioned and moral corruption spread among you.

11. In your ignorance, you denied the rights of your neighbor, crying, "Our rights are violated!"
All of you bear false witness; has any prohibition concerning this come to you?

12. May God not bless you! Surely a determined devil leads you astray.
If the stars themselves turned to stones and cast them down on you, by God, such would be your just punishment.

13. O rabbi, what people do you summon? Surely a wise Lord has destroyed them.
