1. The day we said the time has turned against us
We found among our friends some who blame

How much have you been wronged, o oppressor

3. This is an outing, and you see it
Every day, so what more could you want

4. Woe to them, if they saw what time has done
They would say, tormented, ill-fated

5. I had hoped that if an outing lasted
In a place where I once stayed

6. What I hoped for did not happen until you left
So who is the oppressor, and who the oppressed
