1. My friends, where are my friends
Whose eyes were dazzled by that flock

2. When they showed their faces we knew
That weapons are only drawn for war

3. Moments whose names are metaphors
That are but stabs and blows

4. If I answer the call of passion dissatisfied
The echo answers the call reluctantly

5. Shall I see in the pillow a dawn with my eyes
When I see the night in my heart whilst asleep

6. A false hope, fruit picked
From branches entwined with rage

7. Whenever the breeze stirred the branches
It seemed they shook with wonder

8. The garden of cheeks is not for grazing
And the wine of lips is not for drinking

9. Show me a death where the soul is content
And a killing that pleases other than love

10. Do not stop visiting her for in her
Is the salvation if I meet my fate or perish

11. How beautiful not to visit homes
The day they buried my beloved in them

12. If I pastured the camels, I would say to the friends privately and bid the caravan farewell
A stop at the she-camels that gathers

13. Joy for me and rest for the riders
In the palm trees of Al-Arta like does

14. Protected by chastity like the veil
You marvel, are these wild beast cubs

15. Or these daughters of the Arabs
She emerged targeting him and the full moon faced her

16. So she equalized between east and west
I accounted everything I picked from her

17. Except counting her to be my sin
And the integrity of the chaste who saw

18. But passion does not excuse saying “enough!”
Sometimes the blamer desists

19. And increases in ransom with reproach
As the prestige of the religion increased with the stubborn caller to the difficult duty

20. A radiant face, a flirtatious mouth and the beauty of the meadow the blossom of grass
It almost raised the scales glorifying us that his property is there for the taking

21. Bestower of fine silks, overcoats and perfect Arabian horses

From generous ones whose tales are in books

Why do they hope for rain from the clouds?

25. Men knew his superiority so they gave
The keys to the brave, audacious warrior

26. Molded with the dye of glorious deeds so he can repeat them
And the Prophet is not like Al-Mutanabbi

27. Whoever has two Campaigns to Mecca from Ali
Will return repenting from the lofty Al-Dhulayb

28. How can he not fill the saddlebags with thanks Whilst he is raised in the shop of generosity?
He launched his raids on the dwelling of misery

29. Whatever he suggests, he obtains and enslaves
Ambitions that do not consider supremacy supplication

30. Or are lowered unto the shooting stars
Spears whose branches are in abdomens

31. Swords whose roots are in soil
Racers, outstripping the winds if one day

32. A wager was placed between them from a direction
A nobility enemies pointed to

33. And the guide to ruins is the barking dog
Verily this protector disabled fate

34. And manifested a severed forelock
He sharpened the opinion with experiences until It is purer base and more eloquent speech

35. And protected in his encampment a wilderness of wild beasts
With his management and home of the wolf

36. Of gifts he is brought closer to the rich pasture
Generously pouring without rage

37. From sincere that gives you cream without stirring
And enriches you from straining the crumbs

38. And when the firewood collector of evil confronts him
He finds at his side the firewood of war

39. Dark asDrug ash he sends into every stab
Like a rain cloud

40. And the ambiguity of the two edges
From the essence of death, a confidante of souls forcing them

41. And an ash-colored steed milking vigor
In a hoof like a fortress

42. Enraging enemies seeking victory
From a heart and hidden thoughts

43. He has the most potent cure for matters
And remedying affairs is the best medicine

44. His determination always despite the nights
A stored power restraining the discourse of war

45. He is either the leather bag its jingling awakened its carrier
Or the bent over old coat

46. The problems require from him words
Undertaking melting the solid hearts

47. A ruler, if the jealous enemy claimed him
Would attribute him to Aamir bin Zarb

48. You O Muhammad are to the people
Like the one sent from the family of Ka’b

49. That one was spring when the debt was scarce
And you are the spring in the year of drought

50. God has illuminated a star for the caliphate from you
Based on your endless happiness it signals

51. A state, since you were named its pillar in it Enriched by its pillar and palm trees
It has audacity with bravery protecting it

52. It has booty with honesty guarding it
And if a flag was raised by your acceptance

53. It marches victoriously with might
How could the bracelets not wear jewelry

54. On a hand preoccupied with relieving hardship
It comforted an eye with festivals and feasts

55. Where the beloved soul meets their lover
One cannot bear your hands’ judgments

56. So he came to you seeking a little earth O gathering is incitement to travel
And living near is for settling

57. Together under a shaded pavilion weaved
With the softness of an ardent heart

58. Receiving happiness from every valley
And enjoying bliss from every pathway

59. Whenever the nights were generous with art from it
Their days poured with striking

60. I do not bestow unto it a gift like me
But my gifts are a slave’s thanks to their Lord

61. Without you I would not have recited the ode of poetry
Nor would my pearls belong to threading

62. Except when I chide rhyming
It goes astray to the path of love

63. And old praise is for honor keeping
And mixed praise is some foxiness

64. My benefit in what I contained is little
If only the ignorant despoiling my looting would understand

65. Look at the bejeweled cup offered
Let me fold it, pleased with moisture

66. Why does time dethrone my ancestors
And they are from your strong refuge on the mountainside

67. Do you see me like the planets waning
Their course as the axis turns?

68. It is an obstacle for tightness that appeared Then spills into a vast expanse
