1. The love we shared was blissful,
Though the envious sought to make us miserable.

2. Our bond was true, though faults seemed to appear,
We turned a blind eye focused on good conscience.

3. Whenever the envious tried to sow discord,
We remained forgiving, not holding grudges.

4. In the days of joy, we were inseparable,
Bonded in affection, never growing apart.

5. But now the envious have succeeded,
In causing tension and separation between us.

6. That affection now seems an idle dream,
Or a jester’s joke that failed to last.

7. When a friend discards intimacy willingly,
It robs the eyes of their light to see.

8. And so I grieve the loss of your companionship,
As pigeons mourn the fading spring.

9. Alas! None can replace you and the comfort you gave,
With generosity overflowing.

10. Do not abandon friends for new experiences,
The eyes need friends to act as their shelter.

11. Never did I think our bond was so fickle,
To change with the seasons going by.

12. Had I been wary, I would have protected,
Our love from my own wavering ways.

13. But all strange and wondrous things,
Come from the actions of this confused lover.

14. If you insist on keeping your distance cold,
You will get nothing save the longing of the departed beloved.

15. And if independence is what you seek,
My reward is the forgiveness of the pardoner.

16. Until you see again happy clouds gathering,
Returning vitality to our barren garden.

17. Branches regain their graceful shape,
After storms batter them with furious winds.

18. You know whenever chaos reigns,
My words pour forth to calm the troubled mind.

19. Between my lips and melodious rhythms,
Lies a dearth mocking the abundant sea.

20. A master of speech gathers pearls,
Even from the depths of a raging ocean.

21. My eloquence rains down with commanding speech,
My poetry transcends with captivating verse.

22. My steeds always win at the races,
While others reach the finish line last.

23. In scholarly circles, my heart overflows,
Supplying knowledge to the ignorant wanderer.

24. If some disparage and accuse,
It does not mar the beauty seen by others.

25. If my heart held no love for you still,
I would have ignored the hurt from your harsh words.

26. And said this is not the first covenant broken,
Nor the first time one's been deceitful.

27. But you held such a place in my heart,
I welcomed you like family, generous and kind.

28. It is in my nature to forgive wrongdoings,
So how can I curse the stumbling feet?
