1. The status of the pious with the people of this world
Are statuses of those focused on the highest rank

2. They saw their Lord before those who see them
So they affirmed and discarded all denial

3. And sought nothing but God's pleasure alone
Even if they angered people without hesitation

4. And whoever speaks the truth with certainty
His words are beloved even if resisted

5. So how many preachers of truth were opposed
With harm, but could not be deterred from preaching

6. The necks of earthly kings are in Malik's hands
He commands His creation with injunction and prohibition

7. So do not please a creature by angering The Creator
For your Lord is more deserving of reverence and bashfulness

8. And whoever considers the Master in every state
Sees His hopes in life and death

9. O you who wants God truly in his words
Persist, for you have overcome a world with a world

10. When you make piety and righteousness your splendor
You will be the most honored on the Day of Resurrection
