1. Your glory is assured and your fortune clear,
Your striving for worldly and religious success triumphant.

2. You have unlocked many closed doors of conquest,
And in your supreme hand are their keys.

3. Thus you have subjugated the lands, and all
Their banners aspire to your glorious standards.

4. You have cured the illnesses of Algiers after
It was afflicted with grievous tribulations.

5. Say to the people of wickedness in Mirkah,
"Our advising brings reform while your preaching corruption."

6. Restore the honored ruler's decree, for it
Calls to righteousness and eschews wickedness.

7. And you have become the paragon of generosity
When giving and courage when drawing the sword.

8. To you belongs sublime character without peer,
Exalted ambition and exemplary conduct.

9. In you are various virtues of al-Mansur
That I have contemplated and verified rationally.

10. What was absent you revived through resemblance,
So the cub was not lost when finding the lion.

11. You moved from one palace to another,
Gaining merit wherever you settled.

12. One is like a bride adorned with her jewelry,
The other like a grieving widow in her rags.

13. Congratulations to the land of which you are the star
And worthy of the palace you have made home.

14. You are but the spirit whose limbs are the people,
Directing them as you wish, foot or head.

15. If the archers have surrounded you east and west,
Filling the roads to your bounty,

16. That is only because your good news has spread,
And that generosity was not marred by stinginess.

17. You remain eternally lofty, never descending,
Nor tiring of piety or losing merit.

18. Your glory is high, blemishless, enduring,
Your fortune ever verdant, never fading.
