1. I completed the attributes of Muhammad, the best of creation
The elite of all poems and their pinnacle

2. And he was singled out among the prophets with a call
Whose generality and inclusiveness encompassed the servants

3. Rays shone from him on the two races
They rose and never declined after rising

4. So humans knew he was their intended
And jinn were certain he was their hope

5. How many a verse sincerely appeared
How many a verse descended with precedence

6. And this revelation suffices you, for it is a testimony
For Muhammad, which the servants must accept

7. God gathered honors for a nation
This Hashimite Prophet is its messenger
