1. For your glory nations bowed down
And through you aspirations were exalted

2. And minds perplexed about you
No despair nor boredom

3. Whenever you left a banner
Another rose in its place

4. An endless path
And a journey without pain

5. The kingdom grew for those who found
Through it bodies and souls

6. And knew he is the Almighty
Creator of all existence

7. And for him proofs shone in life
Witnesses above suspicion

8. An address without words
Correspondence without pen or paper

9. Egypt proclaimed plainly
That God is your Lord

10. How strange those who disobey God
When bounties are bestowed on them

11. No eyelid was sleepless for him
No feet grew weary for him

12. O you who do not thank
Him, neither Arab nor foreigner

13. And you whose proofs dazzled
And prohibitions spread far

14. You disobey the One whose creation
Grants you veil and generosity

15. The sun of monotheism rose
Dispelling for it all darkness

16. And a Caliph came whom all nations
Witnessed obeying you

17. Who united the horizons for him
Without bloodshed before him

18. And protected the Muslims for him
Without fear or lack

19. The affairs of religion and life
In ordered praise of God

20. Cessation of grace and its entirety
The smile of justice

21. From him in hours
Generosity without limit

22. An Imam of brilliant deeds
Resolute in thought

23. Destinies made for him
What confusion cannot make

24. If time brings glory
Its passing is forbidden

25. And if trials befall them
Obeying him is protection

26. For those who take refuge in him
Are bounty, and for foes, wrath

27. The light of his forehead shone
The existence of his right hand eternal

28. Say to those denying him
Deaf in their ears

29. Awaken, behind you armies
With torrents raging

30. Restless seas
With fires kindling

31. And a united band
Whose bond will not break

32. When falsehood faces it
Falsehood is defeated

33. O you whose vision was marred
By fancies that dreams built

34. Reconsider, your passion in your claim
Is suspect

35. In sheaths, if you insist
A secret that cannot be concealed

36. The Caliph of the Merciful
Is protected by the Merciful

37. Before his foe, wrath
Behind his existence, naught
