١. بُنَيَّتي هَدَّني الزَمانُ
وَمَلَّني الأَهلونَ وَالإِخوانُ
2. So-and-so turned away and so-and-so scorned me
And God, Lord of mankind, is the one I cry out to
٢. رَدَّ فُلانٌ وَجَفا فُلانُ
وَاللَهُ رَبُّ الناسِ مُستَعانُ
