1. My obedience to him rains down from my eyes
When he shows me from his folds a lightning flash
١. ومِن طاعتي إيّاهُ أَمطرَ ناظرِي
إذا هوَ أَبدى من ثَناياهُ لي بَرقا
2. As if my eyelids see connection fleeing
So for this they flow to overtake it quickly
٢. كأنَّ جفوني تُبصرُ الوَصلَ هارِباً
فَمِن أَجلِ ذا تَجرِي لتُدركهُ سَبقا
