2. And I remembered how my liver softened for him,
Yet his liver does not soften for me,

ู ุฑููููุช ูููู ููุจุฏู
ููุงุจู ูููููุณู ุชูุฑูู ูู ููุจุฏูู
3. Neither are his people my people, nor his land my land,
So we could be neighbors in his land someday,

ูููููููู ุญููุงู ุฌูุฑูุฉ ุจูุฏูู
4. And I found a passion no one before me
Had ever felt for a girl so graceful,

ู ุงุฌู ุตุจุงุจูุฉ ูุฌุฏูู
5. Except Ibn โUjalฤn who lost himself in love
For Hind and wasted away in his yearning.
