1. Though your state makes my color change
Yet my mind is not of those whose vessel falls
١. وَإِن أك حالِكاً لَوني فَإنّي
لِعَقل غَيرِ ذي سَقَط وِعاءُ
2. Necessities have only befallen me
While in my honor there remains some shame
٢. وَما نَزَلتُ بي الحاجاتِ اِلّا
وَفي عَرضي مِنَ الطَمَع الحَياء
