1. Alas! Hatred like his is never done away with hate,
Rather it passes when you love and are sincere.

2. And you see the fools whom you love,
Hoping to escape the pain of misery.

3. So walk with them gently on the paths of salvation,
Punishing them while thinking and examining.

4. Alas! You never attain what you pave for them
Of good, except secretly and stealthily.

5. And if you are afflicted by a setback from their folly,
Beware of fleeing and retreating for yourself.
