1. Journey to the deserts and recite among its sands
A heart that got lost from me among its melodies

2. And ask the shadows of the lush meadow about it, so settle
A dwelling for it, for the agony of separation afflicts it

3. Or else ask the abode of whisper in Kadhimah
About my passion and my yearning, for it is in it

4. And convey the greetings of sincere sorrow to all of them
And submit to them and be gentle in serving them

5. And awaken the moons of that living place from slumber
That the night kills with thoughts while he brings it to life

6. And rise, O protector of Allah, seeking
To unshackle the captive hearts among its people

7. To Allah belongs life when its moons set
Faces of beauties compensate you for them from its melodies

8. A delight, when my gaze roams in its meadows
I imagine them as necklaces in their rise

9. The beauty of the soft-cheeked gazelle unites them
And the heart of the captive-faced contains them

10. The treasures of the gazelles walk from its chokers
Guarded by snakes from its hillocks

11. If not for consideration and the clarity of separation
The herds’ beauty would be confused in its surroundings

12. When the deer run in the course of the valley
The horses stir up dust from its summit

13. The sinful wretches may suffice when
The breeze blows upon them from its sides

14. Since its bow prohibited touching the ground to
The violator of my honor, and my tears are the water of its valley

15. It quenched the thirst of the mighty, its sharp swords
Suffice them from the favor of rain in the year of drought

16. O you who move away, my imaginations bring them close
Your roughness with the flames of my heart and its roughness

17. Perhaps the breeze of the morning spreading your ashes
Will cure your sickness one day and heal it

18. Who is there among your remnants to narrate to me
What the ends of the eyes relate and water it

19. By your right, if you approve in the estrangement of my body
Loving you for my existence in my annihilation

20. I empty my pockets when you are absent, so how when
You are present, from where do I get a heart to empty?

21. With the soul I used to utter scattered pearls about you
And with the eye I used to pick roses from it

22. Oh Allah, O dwellers of Sala', with a burning passion
Its afflictions have wasted it and whitened its blackness

23. It grazes the beauties with eyes, whenever they turn
Towards the red, they become like berries flowing in the cheek

24. The desert shakes it with longing when it understands
The meaning of your gesture in its bending

25. Your moons appear so it imagines them as
Your crescents so they dazzle it

26. It fell in love so it became a target in the field of love
So your eyes target it with arrows of killing

27. Passion shows what fire is in its breast
Do you not see its flames in its tip?

28. A pasture for the abode of intimacy in the deserts for us
Still turning towards the settlements with pearls

29. And excellent is the era of pleasures I wandered in
Towards the full moons in some of its nights

30. Honor with it the curved crescent, if it gathered
It would be the finest jewelry in its thread

31. A sun whose face adorned the times and dispelled
From its people darknesses from its plateaus

32. An ally of wisdom, for him in every darkness
A light of opinion leading to victory guides it

33. A sword that if not sheathed by patience, it would have
Destroyed the people when determination unsheathes it

34. A rain whose ambition and highness gathered
So people shared its generosity and its heights were specified

35. Success and hopes in his right hand
And the red catastrophes in his intentions

36. So if the crow of separation probed it with its sword
Its affection would recover and its darknesses whiten

37. If the shooting stars came to him one dewy day
He would not accept the sun as a gold coin and give it

38. The crescent desires to serve him
Even if its flames had to ignite for him one day

39. And the pride of rain in him, if it befriended him
And the envy of the lion in him if it fraternized with him

40. His status raises him above the high ranking
And his generosity to the needy brings him down

41. He is deaf when wickedness calls him
And hearing when piety invokes him

42. If praise is to carry a rose he plucks it
Or extract honey from it he harvests it

43. Time is infatuated with him in love so it almost
Returns in longing to see him, its past

44. If hopes erased disappointments he affirms them
With hopes as full as his hands

45. The pot of honor which the seal of imamate
Continuously waters with the drops of righteousness

46. Around him a lineage covers our sights
With the light of prophecy when it allures him

47. Of the sublime kings, were it not for their beauty
Glory would shake and its foundations crumble

48. From every shining full moon, his virtues
Find in the garden of praise the stab of defamation

49. He grew and the soul of dew grew from him so each
Became for its counterpart the more lowly nurturer

50. Al-Haydari whom time submitted to
Until it bent in humility and its assaults feared him

51. A battle steed, if the sea of pearls drowned it
It would plunge into the fray until killing nearly shows it

52. The full moon of swords, if laughter exposed it in awe
It would with the flowing blood make it cry

53. And the mind knows even if the stars transgressed,
The humiliation of prostration will afflict them when its plains pray

54. He managed affairs so he directed in his commands
The ruling of purposes and ends in its prohibitions

55. He loved glory as a child and aspired to it
So what makes him suffer became trivial to him

56. Ask the snakes when they attack from his fingers
Are they more delicate than the soft fingers or its valleys?

57. He has traits that if threaded at dawn would
Not match the pleiades constellation in its successor

58. Features that if the night contained and yearned
With its love it would ransom them in its robes

59. The necklace of glory and supremacy are his works
And the jewel of religion and life are his efforts

60. A master, it is as if you recite verses of prostration to us
When you name him our prayers are upon him

61. O aid of generosity, nay the essence of its seal
O engraving of its ring, O circlet of its guide

62. You remain my succor and place of return
And I do not cease to gift my praise to you

63. If not for your patience, my poetry would not please
Nor would its rhythms please for its rhymes

64. And witness from the miraculous verses of my poem which
Immortalizes memory in life and perpetuates it

65. A praise that if eloquently spoken about you
Travels like the orbit of planets, its rhymes

66. Structures of poetry built by thought from gold
Inhabited by the houris of meaning from its semantics

67. And gain with a fast, may God conclude it with good
For you, and reward you with contentment

68. A crescent of bliss appeared from you supreme
So it poured watching you, longing nearly hides it

69. And may the holiday rejoice in repeating its return to you
Nay, in you O delight of life we congratulate it
