40. His status raises him above the high ranking
And his generosity to the needy brings him down

41. He is deaf when wickedness calls him
And hearing when piety invokes him

42. If praise is to carry a rose he plucks it
Or extract honey from it he harvests it

43. Time is infatuated with him in love so it almost

With the light of prophecy when it allures him
