1. Among the people are those who when asked
For help, they expose the one asking.
١. منَ القوم الذينَ إذا استُمدّوا
ندىً فضحوا الخضمَّ المُسْتَمدّا
2. They have no love for the glorious leader
Nor affection for the abode of disgrace.
٢. فلا ودّوا لرأس العزِّ شَجّاً
ولا شَجّوا بدارِ الهُونِ وُدّا
