1. He runs ceaselessly night and day
With a backbone to guide his way
١. وأجردَ يسعى ليلَه ونهارَه
وفي وَسْطِهِ عَظْمٌ يُقَوِّمُ سَيْرَه
2. He harms no one along his path
Yet suffers himself to hide their wrath
٢. وما جارَ فيما سارَ قَدرَ قُلامَةٍ
ولكنَّهُ يَشقَى ويَستُرُ غيرَه
