10. If literature were to compensate its people
With halters made of plaits

11. This reservoir has overflown so where is the cupbearer?
And the refuge arose so where is the observer?

12. Traces of the missing, proofs
Of glory and past beauty are guards

13. And houses filled with generosity whose
Visitors inform about them when departing

14. Dawn breaks through its yards
For hardships after the dawn has smiled

15. O crescent, the crescent missed you and instead
Darkness replaced its illumination

16. The days have pictured you as a blackened
Leafy tree with ripened fruits

17. O beautiful, good-planted, whose plants
Give forth fine livelihoods

18. Today generosity from you feeds its brother
Since you two are not hostile or quarrelsome

19. And the throbbing hearts are a group
Whose hopes are destined to fail

20. And the clothes of praise dry because they
Grieved at the loss of their embroiderer

21. By God, you are gone but the burning passion
Is not extinguished even when you meet

22. Generosity revolves around him as if
It were the finalists on race day

23. If tied to a dead person before him
It would have held on with the strongest grip

24. His tomb gives life with the water of life
To awake the slumbering, it is not illusive

25. Alas if the shroud covered the soil
And its speaker reached you without speaking

26. I used to manipulate tribulations through him
Stepping over them with my feet

27. But today I block their injustice with fingers
Numbed from sadness and compassion

28. I fell sick and if I wore the soil of his tomb
I would gain from him a strong cure

29. God help his noble family for they
Are stars veiled behind the horizon

30. They stretched their beautiful faces as shields
And folded their wings over the emergence of light

31. If I were their close friend I would see them
As crescents that did not graze at the horizon

32. And I would see Ibrahim like his namesake
In patience the next day until burning

33. Nations of composure, not weeping eyes
Drowning in sorrow without bursting into tears

34. The iron gaze does not work and does not see
What it cares for though intruding intently

35. Woe to the calamitous misfortunes, for the

40. And his arrows that he launches at enemies
Are gardens, cheeks, and rosy lips

41. His horizons are like swords when he throws
While their swords in throwing are like horizons

42. A blonde beauty you did not know
Except for the planets or your high minarets

43. Green, more supple than snakes
Before its clouds pour heavily

44. With it the traveling people lightly lead their mounts
And it sways while being heavy with branches

45. A perfumer whose perfumes are carried to thresholds
As if it were one of the markets

You would gain the star rightfully
