1. When hearts find peace
And the keen hunter yearns for the chase

2. I have a wondrous means of livelihood
With it the barren home is made fertile

3. Like armor it turns aside the hissing snakes
Sent forth by the archer hoping for prey

4. Its eyes watch for him without his glance
In the flowing stream where fish abound

5. It has free range there, or narrows
When the seeker of sustenance hunts with it

6. It gives him food both savory and sweet
