1. O you who distracts others from gratitude
With how widespread his gratitude is among people

2. And O supporter of wronged etiquette
When people desist from supporting it

3. I see the Eid robe has been neglected
And it used to come right after it

4. So get me a red one if it competes
With the harvest of roses in its redness

5. Or a yellowish one attributed
To the sincerity of gold in its radiance

6. Or a whitish one like pearls
Whiter than its beads

7. When the brother of old age adorns it
It increases his old age

8. And its edges touch the ground
When it revolves around his waist

9. And the gown covets it as a veil
So gratitude uncovers it from its veil

10. When the envious one sees it, he sees
The glint of daggers in his throat

11. So you are the generous one who never ceased
To clear the clouds from its sea

12. You are the unifier in your generosity
And you are the hoped for in your time
