So people became enemies and envious

5. The Prophet's family, my soul's love for you
Led me to salvation, so I did not care for one who strayed

6. May God not distance from you a party that excelled
So excellence increased their exclusion and avoidance

7. Like firewood's nature it persisted without cause
Burning and igniting the firewood

8. An ignorant person increased in his hatred of you foolishly
If you had befriended the enemies of religion, it would not have increased

9. It gives me pride that your enemy will be healed
While you wronged, with burning hearts and livers

10. You prevented every right and duty owed to you
Until you even prevented the sweet, cool water
