1. Rise with me before the break of dawn
And the water-carriers with their jugs

2. Let us walk to the bliss wherein
Is health of bodies and souls

3. A rural abode your eyes therein
Roam amidst white hillocks and meadows

4. You meet bodies dressed in silks
Of fine fabric on shapely bodies

5. With pants of silk that fill the eye
With splendor and cloaks of black

6. And if the waist wrap of spun wool
Is a foe to your roving eye

7. Then blessings upon you, breasts and
Their overt beauty allowed

8. And cheeks transported from roses
To the yellowness of apples

9. And expanse of the waist when you sway
Your glance in a garden and stream of passion

10. And if the wall is empty, you have
Its wonders and specters

11. Of wild animals presented, no wings
Could evade their loving claws

12. And gazelles that met biting hounds
So they turned back, bloodied

13. And turtles stirring the eggs of swords
Fearless with reddened spears

14. So when you polish your body therein
With hands of bliss, smooth like glass

15. You are sated from morn to easy life
Continually breathing spirits

16. You enjoy the dawn and inhale
The breeze of meadows before dawn

17. And most deserving of festivity a day
That hot winds avoided its zenith
