1. O you whose poetry and prose are sublime
You have my praise and thanks among people

2. And O you who excels in nobility and bliss
More radiant than sun and moon in splendor

3. O you whose generosity became an ocean
May God protect you with land and sea

4. O you exalted in description and in name
Ahmad is that name, when remembered

5. May you see every feast, feast after feast
And good fortune, in Fajr and slaughter

6. You have granted me your abundant generosity
My prayers for you spread far and wide

7. You began well, and ended well
With the kindness and righteousness you possess

8. For you, I pray to the Merciful, pray again
With sincerity, in private and aloud
