1. O wanderer in the universes
Of his suffering in his heedlessness

2. Your beauty has no second
Of the wonderful making of Allah

3. Your glance, the most wakeful of meanings
When it slept in the safety of Allah

4. So look upon the suffering young man
And have mercy on his humiliation through Allah

5. O branch that
All people desire it

6. And full moon that reveals it
Allah has made his Master glorious

7. According to the passion that suffices him
His intestines have melted

8. For you the dawn of the forehead has become
In the night of poetry a guide

9. Never sober is the drunk one
Who went crazy in your love

10. His patience from you has been erased
Who found for him a guide

11. In you, O tormentor, has become
After glory in his humiliation
