When I had wished for union

So it captured a soul and wealth

So it spread out and then allure

5. And hair flowed so if not
For the mouth's lightning smiles

6. The ardour would have seen
From its coverings, misguidance

7. O essence of beauty, wait
If the ardour's patience failed

8. Passion found its warmth
With burning in the heart roamed

9. Does it have a promise of union
Or does it see that impossible

10. So turn away from it, and leave it
In intentions, hoping for attainment
