1. Welcome, O full moon, moving along
Amongst stars in procession

2. In constellations with armored horses
And shadows of spearmen

3. And horses like torrents
And soldiers like lions

4. After nights of anxiety and longing
And doubts from the envious

5. O Sulaiman, son of Abdullah
This is a day of celebration

6. So I recite in it
Some of an unfinished poem

7. Welcome to the king
Who comes with good news

8. Live in peace under the shade of eternal security
Your enemies have become

9. Like harvested crops
Then they returned anew

10. Like 'Aad and Thamud
