1. I have become among people one with sorrow
My mind scattered between secrets and the open

2. And my state is fatigue and my heart troubled
And my health is ill and worries follow me

3. Teaching is my profession and knowledge I serve
And in poetry my words explain sadness

4. And I have lessons in jurisprudence I have not taught
Like the state of every jurist who was in my time
