The Nile recalls its tear and lamentations

2. If only its course was turned into the letter 'Sīn'
And its eyes were scattered on the road

3. And the martyr walked to the wounded homeland
Each sea overflowing with calm tears

4. The house came near, O ship, except
Death obstructed it from reaching the shore

5. So be still on Egypt's banks and rest
It's time for the lion to return to its den

6. Bring the temple of truth closer to its land
Embracing the chest that you carry

7. A moment when the afflicted complains
The agony of separation or utters its longing

8. God be with you, O shores, who
Waited for him in every procession

9. The smile of the frontiers is gone and
The auspicious rising lights have disappeared

10. You have not known the ship since the days of "Navarino"
Except the sad decorated ones

11. On the night of the sea, they went out from you
Adorned with wishes, while the wounded moans within

12. Then they returned to you with lowered images
As the injured whimpers with his groan

13. So ask the sea, has it sailed to you
With any ghosts of the evident conquests?

14. You have not witnessed days except gloom
As the star has pity to pierce its darkness

15. Every day you receive a martyr
Who tasted loneliness's death in exile

16. Or an outcast behind an arrogant sea
So as not to see Egypt chained

17. Remember now, O shores, an eye
That bid farewell to each ship with tears

18. And carry the noble newcomer with affection
Kiss his thirsty lips, and greet his forehead

19. And if you are overwhelmed with sorrow
Draw sobbing from each village and city

20. Ask the wind to scream with wailing
And ask the sea to craze with its madness

21. That is the valley of crying, and it is no wonder
That people see art in crying!

22. O martyr of "Al-Ahrar", there was no day
That he did not wish in absentia that it would not exist

23. The Nile was startled with suspicions about him
So it challenged its hope and suspicions

24. Every wound shed your satisfaction until
Egypt drowned in deep wounds

25. If you had looked behind your coffin, O "Adly"
A miserable nation would have shuddered for you

26. You were worthy of its righteousness and passion
And it was passionate about whom it loves!

27. How can it not shed valuable tears for your right
And not make crying common for your sake?

28. No crying over one who took the homeland
As his worldly life and religion!

29. No crying over one who confined the heart to it
And his pocket and tranquility!

30. No crying over him even if he could be ransomed
You, O Egypt, would have been dutiful to ransom him!!

31. O messenger of peace at all times
Egypt has lost its revelation and trustee

32. People recall in you the days of "Saad"
So they cried in mercy for what they remember

33. And they whispered the memory of "Tharwat" until
They returned yesterday and regained

34. They presented the memories so they were provoked in them
its affairs................

35. You were noble and kind at heart
Hidden inside is sorrow and sorrows

36. His palm made a covenant with yours
That aggression and harm cannot soften

37. And you embraced while you were only
Wishing the enemy does not protect him

39. O guardian of rights, you preferred what is right
While each soul is hostage to what it has earned

40. So sleep now in Egypt's soil and descend
To the abode of love, guidance and tranquility

41. One whose talk fills the valley
And folds its sorrows, has not died

42. His great call takes the oppressors
And the sky savors his melody!
