1. The intellect in its essence is one
From it appears benefit and harm
١. العَقلُ في جَوهَرِهِ واحِدٌ
وَعَنهُ يَبدو النَفعُ وَالضَرُّ
2. Like the rays of the sun and its full moon
In the soil, from it comes cold and heat
٢. مِثلُ شُعاعِ الشَمسِ وَبَدرِها
بَردٌ وَمَنهُ في الثَرى الحَرُّ
