1. Abu Talib was the guardian of Mustafa
He struggled for him and shunned the severers

2. He spent his wealth in supporting him
And cleansed his affection for him of all turbidity

3. He proclaimed his belief in him through poetry
And never deviated from his word

4. An unbeliever and Harb's son thereby
Became a blind believer, dreading naught
