I awakened with the blade of eyelids

4. And a soul melted with love I revived
So it rose in sorrow from worries

5. So I don't kill gazelles out of lust
For the lovely, friendly-eyed gazelles

6. Maidens of tenderness, soft and supple
With shedding of their blood, the doomed

7. Belittling the sun's light, and straightening
The posture of the branches for the twigs

8. Enriching in beauty and vitality
Procrastinating in paying back debts

9. If they are loyal, loyalty is my creed
And if they betray, faithfulness is my religion

10. They are mirages, so discard them and incline
To the protected land and its flowing springs

11. And incline away from fear to peace
To the shade of wishing and the safe country

12. A protected land in which live the noble
Khaseebi, safe from the evils of time

13. The people of loyalty and honesty, brothers of sincerity
A folk whose gifts and love abound

14. Miles to Allah's house, flags of guidance
Dispelling doubt with certainty
