1. O my father, the full moon whose love nourished my heart
And it was only through him that my refuge from separation lies

2. And the memory of him in my absence from him
Gave me pleasure through him

3. O seeker of ecstasy in the abode of seekers’ rapture
And with passion whose excuse is the reproach of the censorious

4. Make your way wide open to his gates
And set out towards the call of his summoner

5. Come through to the outlet of the heavens of his love
And set forth through it

6. Take off your shoes in the holy valley of his sanctity
As you walk at dawn towards the coveted destination

7. And drink the pure wine and flee from blame
