1. Even if His will, exalted is He,
Was our will, our wants would be fulfilled,
١. وَلَو كانَت إِرادَتُهُ تَعالى
إِرادَتَنا لَتَمَّ لَنا المُرادُ
2. And our motives would not have differed,
With it would come soundness, and corruption would not appear.
٢. وَما اِختَلَفَت دَواعينا وَكانَ الص
صَلاحُ بِها وَما ظَهَرَ الفَسادُ
