1. Her bright glances greeted me,
And her beautiful eyes revived me,

2. And the days of my youth's dawn brought me joy,
Polished edges of morn and night.

3. So shorten my blame, for it is quite short,
And lessen my reproach, for it is little.

4. And let me make mistakes about facts to my watcher,
For isn’t foolishness other than an ignorant person who ignores?

5. My friend, shall I glance at the living with a look,
With which I heal a heart full of worries?

6. And my looking makes me confused, and I can do nothing,
And the thing that kills me brings me back to life.

7. A veiled woman who sends me her imagination,
Fearing guards and a far distance.

8. People saw the rising of the veiled full moon,
And they thought it the height of skill in Babylon’s magic.

9. She moves at night, and she is a hidden full moon,
And concealing the truth is over spreading falsehood.

10. Tie our rope, gazelle of the meadow, stop
A little and don’t fear the exposure of arrows.

11. For the hunter does not covet you, but rather
He learned from your eyes to shoot fighters.

12. I pasture you on nearness and purpose,
And I mention you between arrows and cannons.

13. I look with what my eyelids contain for your resident,
When what my eyelids contain for a resident is little.

14. I was given by life the pride of a contented person,
And life is only in the sufficiency of a tranquil person.

15. I hide my special friendship from my friend,
And if I show my good qualities to an enemy.

16. And I know all that is in the soul of my time,
So I do not ask about its secrets.

17. Does it harm me that I was the last in the time
If my speaking is above the speaking of the first?

18. No one blamed the calmness of the son of Muhammed
That it was created after pouring rains.

19. The custom of the world with the full moon and sea before it
And it surpassed both in the types of virtues.

20. For the sea is not abundant in all countries,
Nor is the full moon complete in all traits.

21. High ambitions you see among the people of time an orphan
Like the mention of a loved one in the speech of a blamer.

22. It visits enemies with white swords that drip blood,
And with horses that remove darkness of heavily armed soldiers,

23. With she-wolves above the high grounds of strongholds
Over it and under the foreheads of horses are rivulets.

24. When they wiped out traces and dawn rose,
They returned with dye from the nights picking them.

25. You remained the supporter of the religion in the shadow of a state,
And serious about reaching the farthest of what you threw seeking.

26. The throwers of evil miss your souls,
As if you are a mirror to the eye of a fighter.

27. No knowledgeable informant has seen in the life,
Or seen a day like it,

28. A treasure for the backs of the long ages.
Like two bright moons of conquest and blocking accompanied

29. And were in place of the star for the taker.
You asked both of them in marriage until they both agreed,

30. And no dowry but the bounty of might and attainment.
You thought about an impregnable fortress,

31. Complicated, steadfast in resistance, full of problems.
So you threw this from the top of a towering arc,

32. And you raised that from the bottom of a green, terrifying.
So hands stretched out for the delicate, rivulets,

33. By hands on which were armors of dust, rivulets.
Until they leveled the ground, and it is dense,

34. Gently as palm fronds are thinned.
As if the weaving of clay with reeds

35. Knitted hands were intertwined with fingers.
As if the boulders and their shooting,

36. When the people settled them, subduing beauty.
As if the water’s staff whose edge you sharpened,

37. So you raised it on a continuously rising slope.
As if the sight of people has become looks

38. To a barzakh between two seas preventing.
So if Moses split a sea for a nation,

39. With the strike of a staff until they were saved from torments.
With the high pen you gestured a gesture,

40. So you established in a sea a way for ships.
And if Thul Qarnayn firmly constructed his barrier

41. With what is widely known of his perfect enabling.
You are the one who evaluated with sulfur its asbestos

42. On sugar over the spending of a wasteful spender.
We saw the resurrection of the people before their gathering

43. With the flooding of the areas of the long-destroying rain.
And the hand of the great river stretched out to the villages,

44. So it unloaded on each the swords of streams.
It did not stop except that in each bay,

45. It marketed workers and marketing agents.
That’s how God revives the land after its death,

46. And produces the hidden of the pregnant nights.
And when the noble fortress disobeyed its Lord,

47. And sheltered the people of torment from the enemies.
And the blood of Muslims became more craved to the oppressors

48. Than the sipping of springs.
They were taught not to meet it with schemes

49. That can be handled, nor with armies
Incidents pass by it and their twists and turns

50. Like what the built structure did with time.
You soared to it with steeds as if

51. After emerging meager fast mares.
So they did not become on the morn except from the army only

52. Which has the leather shield in a day when the sun is idle.
And you established clouds for the mangonels beneath which

53. They remained wavering over it with pulleys.
And you rained on them from it with a flood of destruction,

54. And had they stood firm, you would have also rained torrents.
You denied the bounty of provision to them stingily

55. While your palm in life is generous to askers.
So when you made the vast earth for the followers of disbelief

56. Like the scooping scale of a roped camel.
And the letter ‘r’ resembled the place of an atheist to hide

57. And the face of earth resembled the sermon of a reconciler.
They proclaimed safety in it, the salvation of a savior is soon,

58. And in fate, there is nothing that decides against them at an appointed time.
And if they did not resort to surrender, and you threw at them,

59. Passing incidents would have debased them from it.
They soared like the tyrants of jinn until they reached,

60. A place of eavesdropping, the highest places.
So you pursued them, throwing meteorites from judgment,

61. That repelled them to the lowest of the low.
With that impregnable fortress, you uprooted today a thorn

62. Through which kingdom for ages was my painful concern.
It was like a heart in which hypocrisy from them was entrusted,

63. So it was split from the chronic disease, the dragging procrastinator.
It was not but great to the citadels,

64. For in all of them today is the burning of firebrands.
They wish in their imaginations if only from them descended

65. And are safe from it, the impact of those tools.
Is glory but what you built with its destruction?

66. And you secured the religion of God from every tormentor?
Its fortress was not feared safe from tricks,

67. Safe for the long duration from tormentors.
From you to Islam is a grace, even if they refused

68. And persisted, they were afflicted at its heart with great sorrows.
To God belongs the eye of whoever saw the like of its day,

69. A treasure for the ages of long-lasting times.
It's as if the lands of the suddenly-flooded were stones,

70. You made its apexes instead of its bottoms.
It's as if the shards of boulders in every cavity

71. Flew from sharp swords, from ghostly visions and gainers.
It's as if the cry today: I perfected your religion for you,

72. Reciting a mention on the day of your opening descended.
Some people reckon that it's the conquest of a stronghold,

73. And it's only the conquest of every stronghold.
I witnessed, you were given the breadth of overwhelming ability,

74. And determination in overcoming difficulties fulfilling.
So what if you attempted something? And for how long

75. Fate presented to you what you did not attempt?
Does a star change its celestial orbit after

76. Its passage judged continual honor for you?
Under the protection of the Lord of heaven and His judgment,

77. An equal companion of glory in momentous affairs.
Possession of a compelling past in politics,

78. And the management of a just minister.
If they combine, they’d be stronger proofs for security, wealth,

79. Attainment of purpose, and good fortune.
O King whom the horizon of his justice

80. Deserves the rising of the last rights.
Reconsider the state of the honored army,

81. You’ll find a people the injustice of an official has bent.
And how many heads of officials from justice

82. To remove from the head of an official!
So if I gain people intercession from your blessings

83. For the title of the honor of sword is adorning sheaths.
If I get my share with one I hope for,

84. I never forgot the share of one who hopes from me.
The best of all is the ambition of the superior

85. Who distinguishes with benevolence the service of merit.
You bestowed upon me initially by taking care of me, and I was not

86. For myself seeing worthiness of those superior virtues.
But people see an obligatory duty upon humanity
