1. Today my hope has returned, thriving like a sapling,
And fate has fulfilled every promise.

2. The feast has returned to my sapling in its greenery,
And my state is renewed in its renewal.

3. Good fortune from my right is unceasing,
And blessing from my left is undiminished.

4. All this has returned to envelop me,
With the good fortune of the Trustworthy Ruler Mahmud.

5. He has returned joyfully with the auspicious bird,
Strutting in power and support.

6. He came in the procession of favor, spreading
Triumph in the tethering of the banners.

7. He dragged the train of glory and grandeur, stirring
In a meadow of honor laden with eternity.

8. The band of hopes relaxed towards him,
Rushing with gift-horses that are guided.

9. They race in the desert freely, their way
To a hero whose breast is more generous than the desert.

10. They seek the dew from the palm of the generous one
Who gives without fatigue or sorrow.

11. A hero who was created generous in his nature,
None before him were generous in existence.

12. He gives until generosity exceeds the asker,
Have you seen a gallant horse gallant with bounties?

13. What gathering disperses or praise is unattended?
What path of eulogy is disconnected?

14. What rope of hope is unextended?
Of refined manners, his traits are sweet,

15. Of sagacious opinion, noted for support.
Envied in merit among all people for eternity,

16. No merit have we heard of without envy.
In his hand is a pen that flows with

17. A stream of blood and gifts unstinted.
Black and white alike know his boundless scale,

18. Though he authors unity between black and white.
Neither night nor day surpass

19. Their work during ease or effort.
Abu Talib has excelled all people in bounty,

20. By his hands all reins are held.
His ancestors built him a glorious lineage,

21. And he carries on what they erected.
He holds a lofty position in both Sanctuaries,

22. Casting his enemies below the lowest with exile.
He bears a spirit on the brow of time,

23. Inherited from the elevated spirits of his forefathers.
God has paved the horizons of glory for him,

24. And God privileges some through facilitation.
The wretched of creation have come to drink

25. From his hands the wine of boundless bliss.
If it fulfilled what lies against it, it would gain leaves

26. From the overflow of his palms where all rock is removed.
Who will convey from me the glory of their state with

27. Advice no feet can outrun?
With the discerning sword of Ibn Mansur you gained victory

28. Over your enemies when they plotted their plots.
Strengthen your hand with skilled allies from him,

29. The world meets you with untarnished perfection.
Your wealth attains the utmost protection in his hand,

30. While his wealth is earmarked for spending.
The highest of earth’s kings desire his position,

31. If it were to fall to them by the reins.
But it is a partition destiny runs among them -

32. Some limited, some bounded.
Congratulations to you, best of the beneficent,

33. Two feasts have come to relieve all strain.
The first welcomed from us with celebration,

34. The second awaits gifts from you.
So live in security and lasting prosperity,

35. A garment decorated through support.
Hear if you wish every eccentricity

36. Placed around your neck like a necklace.
Of what my unfettered mind has intended

37. Upon meters my nature pours unhindered.
Like the weaving of a double-sided brocade

38. Or strings of pearls perfectly aligned.
My master the people have submitted to unanimously,

39. Not like one who ruled them without equity.
For the one whose being holds a command

40. Of majesty among all souls unconventional,
Today all people celebrate unexceptionally,

41. Delighted by your blessed arrival.
Their feast after their fast

42. You brought them before the feast with feast.
