1. This honorable minister
Has no malice in his intentions
١. هذا الوزيرُ الأجَلُّ
ما في مَطاويهِ غِلُّ
2. Evil in him is little
And good in him is less
٢. الشّرّ فيه قليلٌ
والخَيرُ فيه أَقَلّ
3. And if you knew
Later on the mightiest becomes the lowest
٣. وإنّه لو علِمْتُمْ
بَعْدُ الأَعزُّ الأَذَلّ
