1. I swear the breeze has come back to me ill,
When it traveled from me as a messenger to you,

2. It came desiring your love, repeating,
A soul stealing its breath for so long,

3. And it saw that your love had betrayed me,
So it went away dragging its train out of shame.

4. It wiped the tears from its eyelids deceiving,
But we saw its chest soaked.

5. After it grew with my breaths,
Would I seek against its betrayal a proof?

6. If it had not attained attraction from your cheek,
It would not have given your garden an original branch.

7. Or whenever a lover sends a message,
The messenger returns preoccupied with himself.

8. I will live alone not wanting a helper,
From what I see the people of loyalty are few.

9. If I could - and the enamored cannot,
I would make your eyelids with wakefulness kohl.

10. And prevent my specter from visiting you fearful,
That it would betray like others and change.

11. Rather if you permitted and I remained from agony
A mirage, I would be to the imagination a substitute.

12. And I would frequent your courtyard, and visit you
A guest, and the eyes would not see me despondent.

13. Strange, I was astonished by the breeze when it traveled,
And the night had let down its curtains on it.

14. Intoxicated with a cup of passion it came to me stumbling,
Dragging its train in drunkenness leaning.

15. It complains to me of the passion of what befell it,
And a drowning man refused to be saved with little.

16. Are our times called morning or evening, for sickness
Has encompassed our bodies completely?

17. If I am sick from what I poured to them,
I only find over distance a way.

18. So have mercy on a young man whose loved ones
Are in his heart, and to meeting cannot arrive.

19. My loved ones, since I left you life
Has changed from the era of purity capricious.

20. The cloud of our unity was swept away,
For a time so its clouds came back comprehensive.

21. And the mean fate added us in your nearness,
So it saw our intimate moments plentiful.

22. I do not claim the injustice of time, nor do I see
My night exceeding nights in length.

23. But the mirror of dawn my breath,
For worries rusted its polished face.

24. Until I lined my eyes with the light of a new
Resolve, with it worries left me.

25. A pillar of God's religion, its honor refuses
To be diminished by enemies a whit.

26. Ask the covenant of Isfahan, has it consulted?
And it has seen goodness from it turning back.

27. Like a lion leaving its prey to pounce,
Then it turned declining dragging the prey.

28. Victory for it, a victory whereby it growled
Until it returned its enemy as food.

29. By God, if it could the morning of its arrival
The pulpits would have come out excited swaying.

30. And tomorrow under it their poles will verdant
Until they shade its companions with shade.

31. So pave with the brocade of your cheeks its path,
For love, it will trail their protectedness tomorrow.

32. And if it could, the saddle of its steed would be
Glory carried on the World’s cheeks.

33. A day as if God disseminated its soldiers
For the truth, diverting from misguidance that day.

34. And reverence took control of the tongues of the world,
So you hear takbeer and tahleel.

35. And the sun through the clouds shows the world
An eye, and the noble one tilted somewhat.

36. Like scattered gold coins their palms tossed,
Rising so it hovered then descended light.

37. From some of what the hands of the world scattered for it,
Until it related a pouring rain on it.

38. Until the sun of the west almost found
Among their palms its setting.

39. And the Imam son of the Imam took charge,
The noble deeds built for him a shaded shelter.

40. Majesty crowned him with a crown of honor,
Crowning him for kingship with it.

41. A Turkish crown that immigrated to the sublime,
So it became over the Arab a guest.

42. Kissing the turban content with it,
Pride, and revering his head with reverence.

43. As if he had sworn striving an oath,
So he came like a seeker kissing.

44. So the eyes of the people would see for a day
The descending to them of the crescent of sublimity.

45. So the two crowns are gratified that their beauty,
Granted it elegance and charm.

46. And his shoulder was lent a fur coat so it built
Glory for the remains of time most generous.

47. As a scabbard returned to a sharp sword
That the essence of honor was always polished with it.

48. A pillar whose protection lasted eternally
Not offered to humiliation ever.

49. And the white horses stationed and ready together,
Formed around the stirrups a standing.

50. As if when the two spears trailed
His gown behind him dragging,

51. Two verdant sprigs of sublimity their edges
Thirsty so they stood complaining of dryness.

52. So their blossoms were covered in green, for it
Accompanied a cloud whose rain poured.

53. And the faces of the winds wore violent storms
After they were tethered to it the horses.

54. All from each brightly radiant ash-colored horse,
Its lights like the dawn except a bleary-eyed onlooker.

55. Or all from each dark-colored gloomy one, its robes
As the night except a first appearance and conversion.

56. When he mounted it, the eagle of his sky soared,
Seeking under the eagles for it a resting place.

57. I swear neither were its iron shoes bent,
Nor did they make for its steed’s foot horseshoes.

58. Rather that crescent has ascended bestowing
A kiss to the edge of its foot.

59. For God, a day of joy dispelling sorrow
And every free heart attained what it sought!

60. They took off for good news what the creation wore
Until the daytime of its welfare overflowed.

61. All wanted to take off their clothes
When they saw happiness enter it.

62. And the neighbor of the garden wearing red told
That he got up for its trailing hems enthusiastic.

63. So it was as if when it came to him a giver of good news,
And passion left his body thin,

64. He threw off the turban and desired to undress his shirt
Not finding his wrap present.

65. Conditions through it your sublimity increased
Without you having complained of inertia.

66. And how many renowned stops of sublimity
Whose signs were elaborated upon in detail!

67. You gave the predecessors a lead to sublimity
And filled the utmost of the successors traces.

68. And I see the foundations of guidance and its matters,
And time follows with the secondary the origins.

69. The way of its lifting returned with Ismail
A consistent sequence just as it began with Ismail.

70. If there is not in it a messenger like him,
By his father's action you were a messenger.

71. Each partner of his father in his inauguration,
And you see matters if you look at them entangled.

72. You both constructed meaning just as He constructed
An edifice, and with the other we mentioned the first.

73. O son of the one who gave you the blossoms of his perfection,
Then chose him as a friend, Lord of the sky.

74. So it suffices you pride to name him father,
And it suffices him pride to be named an offspring.

75. And you spread knowledge spreading in the world,
On earth until you did not leave a place unknown.

76. So you remained for Islam, O honor to it,
Until you complete what they lack.

77. Your noble character captures our minds,
And from character what resembles encompassing.

78. O son of nobility, and how often the world sobered
In an event, who was more upright they said?

79. Is my saying overburdening your hearing one time
Generously? So remember if you see excess.

80. Advice is a pendant that the young man sometimes finds
In hearing its burden momentous.

81. And apart from them if I am concerned in my saying,
Then in your listening I place dependence.

82. And if you look while knowing a reason,
You would not be ignorant in recognizing the inferred.

83. What made the two parties legitimize a division
After a rope that was not cut?

84. They were together in the way of Muhammad’s religion,
And time makes mornings into evenings fickle.

85. Like two halves that you do not see this
Right preferred over that left for it.

86. So slanderers roamed between them
With dissent until they altered and exchanged.

87. You make peace with enemies, seeking their safety
Strangely, while the supporters of guidance mornings became

88. Each to each one providing disappointment?
And time in it - did not your insight encompass -

89. Wonders that include the feared and hoped?
It is an opportunity for you from your time presented,

90. So arise determining the beautiful deeds.
And restore the system of both sides as appeared

91. To include all those your respected side.
And if you attacked with their assembly so they become

92. A sword over the neck of enemies unsheathed,
Then in that ask Muhammad in his grave,

93. For it suffices about his religion to question.
It will inform you that you delighted his eye

94. With what you intended, and asks for hastening.
The reconciliation of hearts for the likes of them

95. After humiliation promises abundant,
Is a glory if your era dawns with it anew

96. For all glories would be annulled.
And you are more guided in matters to what

97. Satisfies, and you are not dictated over the sublime.
O you who counts God provisions for himself,

98. So to Him entrusts his matter.
You still have from Him in the shades of care

99. Until you guarantee what you will.
And to you from my good words delicacies

100. Like pearls, its stringing elaborated in detail.
