1. You have just silenced your envious detractors with a journey,
So it departed and revealed the face of a determined newcomer,

2. And you have arrived while the blessed fast is approaching,
So rejoice in a fast whose celebration is in the first month.

3. He who you have never ceased to be the supporter of His religion,
Has now become your supporter, in spite of the subverters.

4. And the Almighty who destined you among us as His servant,
Has subjugated your enemies with a subjugation without respite.

5. So suffice you the enmity of the transgressing enemy,
And suffice you the striking of overwhelming afflictions.

6. Remember then the plans which have overcast and cleared,
And thank the abundant, generous bounties.

7. Bounties that humble everyone who opposed you,
And everything difficult you have mounted has been subjugated.

8. My soul is your ransom, O generous one who has never ceased
To be my lofty refuge, safe from adversities.

9. I swear I have struggled against enemies for your sake,
And sufficed from them every intractable creature.

10. And I was struck for you with arrows of estrangement,
And if you doubt it, then ask!

11. And I have been targeted in myself and in my son with slander,
To the joy of the base enemy’s soul.

12. And time occasionally has within it wonders,
That break the lance of its people with the unarmed.

13. So look upon me today with a gratifying gaze,
For in your victory, O Great One, lies my reliance.

14. For so long, from wherever I came to you eagerly,
I found your generosity reciprocating my yearning.

15. So whenever I wanted glory, you bestowed it upon me,
And whenever I wanted wealth, you conferred it upon me.

16. And whenever I sought advice I saw the greatest sage,
And when I sought judgment I saw the greatest judicious.

17. And if I sought victory on a day of wrath,
You brandished before me every sharpened blade.

18. O you who are stingy with honor out of generosity,
Until when asked for succor you do not stint.

19. If only I had fulfilled my passion as was its right,
I would have mounted the wings of the morning breeze and the dusk.

20. And if my eyes were sated of you with a glance,
It would transport the beholder’s gaze to the heights.

21. So I will pardon the times and what it reaped,
When it returns apologetically disengaging.

22. And without my gratitude a blessing through you was renewed,
My secret and open self thereafter did not busy me.

23. Time has returned to concord so return to it,
And when the turns of fate come around accept them.

24. Just as God made your outcome favorable with victory,
O gallant one make good and beautify.

25. And return to me with your kind eye a glance,
And judge my defiant times and be equitable.

26. And to one like me the merit of one like you is known,
So come forth, for I have feared the afflictions and hasten!

27. Inspirations have died in time so revive them,
And deficiencies emerged in fate so perfect them.

28. Until every marvel is flaunted through you,
Restraining the rein of the hastening rider.

29. Of overweening pride, which makes kings envy you,
A beauty, when uncovered to the beholder’s eye.
