That was not beyond reach.

10. And whose love grew for him
Purer than clear water.

11. As for blame, it is
Directed in any case.

12. But I blame or am blamed about
Nothing other than my request.

13. Why did you ransom me since
I got sick, avoiding you, what ails me?

14. Can such aloofness be endured
With proximity of neighbors?

15. And I expect you to visit
Me when I am well, how absurd!

16. But when an illness
Reveals my disability,

17. I do not accept such disability
With the like of this disability.

18. It is the glory of sovereignty
To honor those who ally.

19. The traditions of generous men
And the glorious were postponed.

20. And if I fall sick and am not visited
By those I love and ally,

21. And when I recover, I find
Their love to me like a worn garment.

22. So it is as if my illness
Transfers to their love of me.

23. The matter is your matter, not
My choice in what I do.

24. And I will return, if you heed
My hearing, detailing some of my state.

25. Have you seen determination that was
For me like a fire, blazing fiercely,

26. And a riding beast I cast
Above its lead, a travelers' caravan.

27. That is none other than
Choice is for the Majestic.

28. Waiting to listen and hear
The guide of the speeding raiders.

29. It circles around vainly,
From Yemen to Syria it roams.

30. So my illness took over,
Wanting release from its rein.

31. And I let it go towards Iraq,
Dragging the remains of ropes.

32. Towards departure that may
Change me to another kind of departure,

33. And a place of sincerity or lies
That my dwelling will populate afterwards.

34. And the judgment is God's judgment, not
Availing if it descends upon my cunning.

35. If I die, the one did not die
Whom I dispatched with words wandering.

36. And the life of memory became
For me through merit vanquishing all saying.

37. And I hoped for, after you,
God's mercy joining me,

38. If I lived, I would meet the minister
And attain glory and wealth,

39. And I would race the steeds of words
Between his hands, vast is the field.

40. And the star of prestige turned aside for me
While it rises wearing the new crescent.

41. O feast of gifts, your
Clouds are pouring while the trees are barren.

42. It is as if I had rested
My mounts after weariness,

43. And I saw my needs fulfilled
By your palm, lively and sound.

44. With a new prose composition
For the fair, following moderation.

45. For they have become divided
Between usurpation and confiscation,

46. And hearing news of nobles
And defeating those gone astray,

47. And building his noble dwelling
While the foundation builder's renown is high.

48. And I knew that I find
For that more rightful and fitting.

49. I am the son of the supporters of guidance
With white and brown tall men.

50. And a fighter among the Khazraj
When my uncle and maternal uncle join.

51. As for the Prophet, he saw
Our Prince on the day of battle.

52. And God is above the heavens
From whom we were called men.

53. So turn back, O Hashimite
For the low are not like the lofty.

54. O son of one who ruled the world
And the times are not like past times.

55. And he flowed until he surpassed,
Alone, and none comes close.

56. I looked from the height of my pride
To the stars, so high.

57. In Khwarazm the old,
My desire is to stay, not leave.

58. Perhaps they would ask for it there
To show my condition.

59. So compose with your palm compositions
That resemble ideal examples.

60. Like the writing of cheeks
With lines of coloring.

61. For the example of your palm
Cannot be matched except by following.

62. And shake the ether of religion
So it moves the polished lance.

The sincere in honoring my state.

64. Seeking elevation, and for one like me

66. Until I go to the minister
With what he granted me of gifts.

68. For he who does good deeds
Good words suit him.

69. And to you, marry a maiden
