1. Peace be upon you, O Rayya,
And no harm to your splendid abode,
١. عليكِ يا رَيَّةُ السلامُ
ولا عَدَا رَبْعَكِ المطَرْ
2. Since the Imam has settled in your palace,
So you seek rain and prosperity.
٢. مُذْ حَلَّ في قصرِكِ الإمامُ
فقُربُكِ السؤلُ والوَطَرْ
3. In your delightful garden, the wild beasts
Bow their heads in gratitude.
٣. والدَّوْحُ في روضكِ الأَنيقْ
للشكْر قد حَطَّتِ الرُّؤُوسْ
4. The bough is drowned in its river,
Like a bride in her finery,
٤. والغصنُ في نَهْرهِ غَريقْ
وفي حَلاهُ كما عروسْ
5. And the air from your radiant face,
The suns are jealous of it.
٥. والجوُّ من وجهِكَ الشّريقْ
تحسُدُهُ أَوْجُهُ الشموسْ
6. The flowers' eyes never close,
Sweetening wakefulness and vigil.
٦. وأَعْيُنُ الزَّهْرِ لا تَنامُ
تَسْتَعْذِبُ السُّهْدَ والسَّهَرْ
7. The clouds exhale from beneath them,
And the eyes of flowers watch over you.
٧. تَنْفُثُ مِنْ تحتِها الغَمامُ
تَرقيكَ من أَعْيُنِ الزَّهَرْ
8. You are a bride, O Aqila,
Revealed in the image of perfection.
٨. عَروسةٌ أَنْت يا عَقيلَهْ
تُجْلَى على مَظْهرِ الكَمالْ
9. The north wind strokes your sides,
As outstretched palms greet you.
٩. مَدَّتْ لكِ الكفَّ مُسْتقيلَهْ
تمسَحُ أَعْطافَك الشَّمَالْ
10. The sea is your polished mirror,
Revealing that beauty.
١٠. والبَحْرُ مرْآتُكِ الصَّقيلّهْ
تَشِفُّ عنْ ذلكَ الجَمَالْ
11. The jewelry is an organized flower
Crowning the branch with pearls.
١١. والحَلْيُ زَهْرٌ لَهُ انتظامُ
يُكَلِّلُ القُضْبَ بالدُّرَرْ
12. A smile has dawned from his mouth,
And the rose blushes in his cheek.
١٢. قد راقَ من ثغرهِ ابتسامُ
والوردُ في خَدِّها خَفَرْ
13. If it is said who is her ransomed husband,
And who is allowed her company,
١٣. إِنْ قيلَ مَنْ بَعْلُها المفَدَّى
وَمَنْ لَهُ وَصْلُها مُباحْ
14. I say the most noble of kings as redemption,
Eternally honored with swordsmanship.
١٤. أقولُ أسنَى الملوكِ رِفْدَا
مُخَلَّدُ الفَخْر بالصِّفاحْ

Muhammad, the Praiseworthy, when guided
١٥. مُحَمَّدُ الحمدِ حينَ يُهْدَى
ثناؤُهُ عاطِرَ الرياحْ
16. His commendation scents the winds.
The turban tells of his goodness,
١٦. تُخْبِرُ عن طيبهِ الكِمامُ
والخُبْرُ يُغْني عن الخَبَرْ
17. And news suffices in place of reports.
Victory, awe, and swords,
١٧. فالسعْدُ والرُّعْبُ والحُسَامُ
والنصْرُ آياتُهُ الكُبَرْ
18. Are his great miracles.
He of a valor that dazzles armies
١٨. ذو غُرةٍ تَسْحَر البُدُورَا
وطلعةٍ تُخْجِلُ الصّباحْ
19. And a rising that shames the dawn,
How many banners has his backing raised,
١٩. كم رايةٍ سَامَها ظهورَا
تُظَلِّلُ الأَوجُهَ الصِّبَاحْ
20. Shading the bright faces of dawn!
And how much darkness has his light dispelled,
٢٠. وكم ظَلامٍ جَلاهُ نُورَا
أَظْفَرَ بالفَوزِ والنجاحْ
21. Seizing success and deliverance!
The Pure, the Manifest, the Valiant One,
٢١. الطَّاهرُ الظَّاهرُ الهُمامُ
أَعَزُّ من صَالَ وافْتَخَرْ
22. More honorable than an honored ancestor.
To his sword in enemies there is reference,
٢٢. لِسَيْفِهِ في العِدى احتكِامُ
جرَى بِهِ سابِقُ القَدَرْ
23. What fate decreed flowed through it.
O sender of good things to the ignorant,
٢٣. يا مُرسِلَ الخيرِ في الغِوارِ
لو تَطْلُبُ البحْرَ تَلْحَقُ
24. If you seek the sea, you will overtake it,
For you the meteors, if they compete,
٢٤. لَكَ الجواري إذا تجاري
سَوابقَ الشُّهْبِ تسْبِقُ
25. The meteors will outstrip.
They take cover in the depths of the seas,
٢٥. تَسْتَنُّ في لُجَّةِ البِحارِ
فالكُفرُ مِنْهُنَّ يَفْرَقُ
26. So disbelief in them will disperse.
Thus religion and speech should be brief
٢٦. فَالدَّيْنُ وَلْيُقْصَرِ الكلامُ
بسيفِكَ اعْتَزَّ وانتصَرْ
27. By your sword it became mighty and victorious?
That is how your honorable ancestors were,
٢٧. كذاكَ أَسْلافُكُ الكرامُ
هُمْ نصَروا سَيِّدَ البَشَرْ
