Those good news, oh beautiful flowers

8. The opening of openings came to you in garments of contentment
With wonders of eras and times

10. How clear are the signs for you in prosperity
You immortalized lessons from them to gain insight

11. How hidden is the wisdom for you in the souls
Its realms hidden from thoughts

12. How many a prince lined up at your door
Calling the Caliph with utter glorification

13. You gave Ahmed a victorious banner
Its blessings emanating from the supporters

14. You mounted him amidst glorious undertakings
As if you prepared him for pilgrimage direction

15. Every fluttering sail applauds for him
Its wings fly like a bird's

16. It casts with the winds the excess of its bridle
It almost outpaces glances’ swiftness

17. Like steeds, they compete and race
From frothing waves in a racetrack

18. For God, swimmers amongst them in allegory
Who grace and are your beautiful maidens

19. When it headed for its landing place in Ceuta
It glanced at the fences like a bracelet

20. When it saw the first light of your determination scudding
Surrounded by the beams of lights

21. And it saw a forehead with the dawn sun beneath it
It paid you reverence and utmost magnificence

22. So it handed over its vulnerable possessions
Improving their positions with frequenting

23. And you showed people of the west your abandoned determination
Strangeness of fate assisted it

24. And Ceuta sued for peace from the new Fez
Paying you homage willfully and with houses

25. They did not believe the text of the news about its opening
Until they saw it in the compositions of poems

26. And listened to news of its conquest
As narratives were sufficient over reports

It's sweet remembering their back and forth

35. Are they the banners of dawn in the shining East
Or a flag in an arduous army?

36. A horizon aglow or a bare flashing sword
Vanquishing a star in dusty sky?

37. The virtues of the Imam Muhammad
Shone, or Did the Radiant's gardens bloom?

38. He surpassed kings in sublime ambition
Without which the orbiting star is debased

39. If his bloody palm shook hands with him
The Milky Way would pride in its flowing river

40. Shooting stars hope to rise from its horizons
If they gain invincible asylum

41. Ask the dawns about his face, it may reveal
What dims the daylight on a shining morning

42. Ask the clouds about his palm; it will tell you
Of an ocean white with foam from its waves

43. Ask the lightenings about his determination, they will inform you
Of the most resolute night and caves

44. He gained courageous morals whenever
He extended ambitions to brave perils

45. If he meets a wicked person with his forgiveness
He accepts him with lifespans' pardon

46. O you, when fortunes of your praise rise
The fragrant garden is decked

47. You, when smiles of your good tidings radiate
He gifts souls and remains in deprivation!

48. You, when suns of your prosperity rise
Their beams tire the seeing powers!

49. I swear by your luminous face, it is
A sun that provides the sun with lights

50. I swear by your blazing determination, it is
A sword unsheathed by the hands of fate

51. For your palm's geniality whenever I request it
It rains copious blood rain

52. By God, your sublime presence still
Casts the estranged one's walking stick

53. Many an outcast straying whom
Destinies' hands flung into wilderness of exile

54. His hopes fulfilled however he wished
Yearning thereby homelands' parts

55. You made your land, through grace, his land
Granting fine living and consequences of houses

56. And people know you are the downpour who
Bestows adequate veils upon it

57. Many a prayer in affliction you answer
Tempting slumberous eyelids to whimper

58. Tears’ streams came from dew’s droplets
Springtime thereby heralding a neighbor’s rights

59. Bringing the earth’s face beaming and laughing
With buds’ smiles and rivers

60. You, whose glories and virtues of jihad
Challenge carriages across regions

61. You rallied countries and fortresses therein
Your luck suffices guarding its centers

62. Many a virgin land did you speak for its conquest
In Chefchaouen and the perilous canal

63. Many a bride for blasphemy, when you gained it
Silencing bells, noises and confusion

64. You removed its existence from existence
Effacing it save from memories

65. They built in it Edens’ gardens decorated
Then avoided it for demolition’s houses

66. You made it a cordoned bloom
Returning it for now to the fire’s site

67. The blasphemers' faces are black from shame whenever The cheeks of the white swords shine
For many a blossom hailed in Ceuta

68. Horses' neighs from its birds dispelled
Whatever the tongues’ flowers narrate its blossoms

69. Swords relate its streams’ banks
Within it burning steel aflame

70. Enemies will pray from its blazing sparks
In each boxer’s grip, a bare sharp sword Like firewood kindling in preservation

71. In the palm of defender floating over a breast
Billowing in summoning to readiness

72. From each provoked with a glimpse, brandishing
Bearing arms against birds

73. One whose dusklike assault comes as dawn appears
At the vanguard army's beginning

74. One whose darkness is like the night except
Garbed not in black hair's adornment

75. One red like ember brandishing a blaze
And flung himself into fierce flames

76. One fair-haired whom Beauty donned his skin
And crowned with glory’s aura unfading

77. One flame-colored as if he merges
With the reddish sun in daylight

78. Valorous and blond-haired steeds amid charges
As if a garden blossoms in Spring

79. You disciplined them that they come not near a water-spring
Until it mixes with blood

80. You, whose days are treasures flashing in eras’ faces
Glory to your banner preceded by your grandfather marcher

81. Bearing the banner of the best of mankind against blasphemers
No wonder you surpassed kings in dominion

82. When your grandsire was master of supporters
The early vanguards to guidance

83. And chosen to aid the Chosen One
Rejoicing when the guest honored them

84. They set out shedding moons' faces
From each bright-faced one, when singled out

85. Wearing the crown, honored in pride
Dawning above a full moon when

86. He wore favors and carried with dignity
Ask about their standpoints in battle

87. They mingled matters in separation
For them are the elevations from elevations of its pride

88. Narrators conveyed elevations of reports
And when God’s Book praises them loudly

89. Palaces almost collapsed from poetry’s favor
Son of those who when their pride is mentioned

90. Pride themselves with aromatic basil and carpenter
Indeed, you clarified their vestiges

91. When you sought vengeance for their religion
You became heir of their glory and pride

92. Forgers of eras and cities
Liberated from wishes' bouquet

93. Successfully spending and receiving
Congratulations on a conquest comprising contentment

94. Stallions prancing in garments of joy
To you in full are eyes and loftiness

95. They greeted you in firsts of my thoughts
Running nicely the talk of the young women

96. Infatuated thereby old wineskins
If the breath of praise touched them it ripened them

97. From it a breeze of your fragrant praise
And it tilts from listening one as if I

98. Proffered him thereby cups of potion
Thought’s oceans cast therefrom essence

99. When fingers described in seas
Still you are to Islam a shelter whenever

100. Pilgrims direction the House of Coverings
Protecting, Moon of Guidance, running thereby whatever

101. Destinies’ preceders ruled
