1. For whom is there a red dome whose beauty matches
The earth below and the sky above?

2. The earth below holds treasures of mercy,
And that which arches above is its cover.

3. The Merciful made our creation in its image,
It is honor enough that we came from its elevation.

4. Its furnishings are spread with varieties of favors,
Blessings from it and shelter by it.

5. You see the birds lined up within it
For the blessings from God that are its right.

6. Its affiliation is glory, though it falls short
Of containing what its successors held.

7. The caliphate has made me love it over slaves
So my reward from God on Judgment Day is through it.
