1. O best of the kings in his generosity,
And for his grace he resembled the angels,

2. By Allah, time and its people never knew,
Always safety and prosperity without you.

3. I met my family in Riyadh one evening,
In your auspicious garden beneath your shade,

4. I found it overflowing with dew towards the wetness,
With clouds dripping from your blessings.

5. And ships laden with which the sea of generosity set in motion,
Flowing from your favors.

6. Fresh from blossoming branches as if
Arranged from their beauty like necklaces.

7. Of everything the Prophet loved,
And the Supporters loved from those.

8. And wonderful gifts you unveiled,
Like full moons illuminating the horizons.

9. Drops of manifest light embodied,
We thought they were your guidance.

10. Sweet on mouths the taste of it,
Were it not for incarnation, we’d think them your gifts.

11. The little children circled them as if they were,
A flock of wildcats when they came to your call.

12. Their mewing however much I heard their talk,
And their cry “My Master” or “Our Master”.

13. You conveyed to your servant his request regarding the children,
You still convey regarding your sons their wishes.

14. They pass around pages of prayer,
So that God may prolong your remaining.

15. You remained a sun in the sky of the caliphate,
And they are the full moons, may He extend your lifetime.
