1. Greetings O abode of love from an abode
Whose morning is shining with flowing rain

2. And your Lord's face has returned bright and smiling
Laughing with the radiance of lights

3. Do you remember the abode of youth and love
Where the branches of youth flourish and thrive

4. Speaking of it you have given me a feeling
As if you have given me cups of wine

5. Alas, if you revived the fire of my youth
And ignited the flame of longing through memories

6. O you who rebuke sorrows though they are alluring
You likened them to the howling of winds

7. They yearned for Najd though it's not their abode
And poured towards India and the caves

8. But they found solace in it like fever flashes
And its specter accustomed them to visit shrines

9. Can wishes reach if carried on transport
Loyalty is the nature of the generous

10. Relay my mention in the tents, and say when
You come to al-Aqiq, carrier of purposes

11. Shame on your people, O daughter of the alive
To procrastinate debts though you are wealthy

12. You allowed easy speech to the lovesick
Yet was miserly to the point of imagination

13. My teary eyes explained their swooning
But you neglected their rights as a neighbor

14. I did not know of any flaw among your people
More loyal to promise and neighborhood

15. God is a shining ray, whenever
The breeze blows all havens fly

16. By God O soft sands, why did the morning breeze
Not blow with your fragrant breath

17. O daughter of one whose youth the singers recall
Justifying themselves before all others

18. No harm in a prohibiting breeze if only
It brought us any news

19. Did it show after us affection
Humming, chirping of birds

20. And are the doe-eyed damsels as we knew them
Subduing the lion of the jungle, they being prey

21. Slaying with their statures and glances
In Mushrifiya and the dangerous bend

22. The youth reminded my heart of them
So they threw me from my agony with embers

23. And on the hill, red-lipped gazelles
White-faced, conversing with thoughts

24. The pilgrims visit them in Mina, if only
Mina's abodes were places of settling

25. But the day of departure they were harsh to us with what
They accustomed us to of aloofness and estrangement

26. O son of loftiness, they have gained excellence
And ascended with the fragrance of aromas and carpenter

27. Their palms take the place of the cloudy side
And their faces take the place of moons

28. From the family of Saad, upholders of the flag of guidance
And the chosen ones to help the Elect One

29. You have become heir to their glory and pride
And exalted among eras and settlements

30. A face that has removed the veil like the morning
And a hand that extends fingers into seas

31. You have renewed for the religion a sublime determination
You have renewed the ways of the Helpers

32. You sought refuge for the lands and their borders
And Saad's good fortune suffices as protector

33. By God, your journey by which we attained
The reward of jihad and the delight of sights

34. In it, you let us drink from your generosity
A fresh, sweet flowing spring

35. And you bestowed on us from your help
Good gifts with pleasing repetition

36. You made the lips of the land smile when you came to it
And singled it out with qualities of altruism

37. To the point that the desert began performing
The rituals of villages with hospitality

38. The wild birds circle you, giving greetings
Who hunts beast and bird

39. And the land knows you are the succor
Who casts on it the cloak of protection

40. And perhaps an extended, desolate expanse
Whose dunes are distant from each other

41. Its theatre is neglected, none preserving it
Except for news of a daring knight

42. The wind bolted, and it may have cast
In its courtyard the staff of travel

43. Its dawn broke, and the horizon took off the darkness
To wear the garment of departure

44. And the stream of daylight carried it as if
The cupbearer poured a drink from a pitcher

45. The ready horses passed by it as if they were
Horses of battle, polished on race tracks

46. Followed by the magnificent steeds like stars
Plunging through the heavens of dust

47. The guides led by the dusk of travel
Pouring like the flow of currents

48. You hurried them, fair, beautiful in appearance
So you shot an arrow of fire from it

49. The spear settled in it, then you left it
Its feathers dyed with dripping blood

50. The fleeing prey circled above it as if
They were birds that nested in their burrows from it

51. Its hares the next morning after tracing them
Sought escape but froze at escape

52. Does the long lifespan benefit when you have made
The day of hunting short-lived?

53. From every thin-legged creature whose steps
Surpassed the reaches of sights

54. And limbs that reached it faster than their seekers
As if they sought revenge from it

55. Blacks and whites in the chase followed
Like the night chased by the whiteness of day

56. You shoot them and they are the protected gazelles
Like arrows pulled from bowstrings

57. I thought they would escape you though you tempted
Them with the hares of moons

58. And with all the swaggering of wings when they fluttered
It was as if the passing star of heaven

59. The ruffling wing claps as if against perdition
In its claw and in its beak

60. The pursued game is devoid of beasts though you shot
Birds that came to you in succession

61. And you showed us the gains which enemies
Filled with beauty the eyes of onlookers

62. Whites and yellows whose pasture was left
A meadow blossoming with anemones

63. Of each well-patterned leather intricately designed
The hands of fate have figured wonders

64. Whiteness mixed with yellow in its color
So you see the two combined with the brilliance of blossoms

65. Or igniting intensely gazing eyes as if
A blaze mixes with a bright morning

66. They grazed in the well-watered green sides flourishing
Where the patterns of rivers meander

67. The lead she-camels suckled it with their milk
And they wore for it the garments of weaning

68. Your good fortune took precautions, so for wisdom
It tempted the eyes of the jealous to stare

69. When the yellow sun envied
Your shining, radiant forehead

70. The clouds blew on you an enchanted breath
To protect from its expected harm

71. So raise the banner of pride without resistance
And pull the trains of the mighty army

72. And congratulate yourself on your blessed arrival
Authorized with whatever you wish of might and partisans

73. I have come to your house doing good and hoping
To enjoy the beauty and consequence of the house

74. And to you from the garden of my thoughts is a breeze
Healing praise with it over flowers
