1. My Lord, O son of the foremost to sublime heights,
And the first to aid the religion, so beautiful!

2. You are enriched by the light of God over all adornment,
And clothed by His pleasure in the noblest attire.

3. Your dignity increases the King's honor and awe,
And facilitates for him in God's mercy a watering place.

4. O sun of guidance in the sky of the Caliphate,
And his sons, the radiant, shining flowers.

5. Blessed is He who made you manifest in every aspect,
Handsome, majestic, and hopeful.

6. The sun of guidance is embarrassed before you,
And the full moon envies you, a complete moon.

7. When you clothe the age and its people
In robes of honor that decay cannot reach,

8. And adorn the wrists of the kings of steeds
Crowning them with pride, a bejeweled crown,

9. Whatever you wish, then dress them, for the beholder says:
"Blessed is the most beautiful, felicitous, and perfect!"

10. Indeed, all who prayed, sacrificed, supplicated,
And extended his hands beseeching, hopeful,

11. Your generosity is good fortune in attaining acceptance,
And your generosity enriches his palms, so he feathered.
