1. Imam Muhammad
Gifted the caliph Ahmed

2. With a robe, and he
Wore praise and donned

3. The turban of piety which
Above it shines the sun of guidance

4. Oh how beautiful when he sent
From his palm the rain of generosity

5. As if the lining of his turban
Was embroidered with lightning on black

6. And with its embroidery a hue of sky
And his face a rising moon

7. To God he is a shining light
Who reached the most felicitous abodes

8. Seeking help, the most exalted for him
Above the abodes, most felicitous
